Hello, and welcome to The Reiki Room website.  People kept telling me that I needed a website, so........I finally made one.

I am Roberta Cottrell, Reiki Master/Teacher, Certified Tong Ren Practitioner and various other things.  My healing background and some personal information are on the About Roberta page.  

First, let me tell you about The Reiki Room.  My space is located at 40 Mechanic St. in Foxboro, MA.  Easy to find.  I've been there since early 2002, and I'm very proud of my space.  In addition to the Reiki table, relaxing music, soft lighting, etc. that every healing space has, my room is filled with things given to me by cherished family and friends.  For example, there's an antique inkwell of amethyst glass given to me by a dear cousin. It belonged to our grandmother.  The top is missing, but a tea light candle fits perfectly in it. There's a large brass enameled bowl that belonged to my husband's grandmother. Filled with assorted crystals, it provides another connection to the past. There are chunks of stones with various healing properties that my daughters thought I would like, and they were right.  The list goes on; you get the idea. People tell me that when they step into my space, they tend to take a deep breath and just relax.

So what goes on in The Reiki Room?  Well, good stuff.  Fun stuff.  Relaxing and healing Reiki sessions, of course, and meditation groups, Reiki classes, Reiki shares, laughter, and sometimes healing tears.  Spirit has a standing invitation, and has never disappointed me.
